The Practice Journal ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address
• Authentication credentials (securely stored via Firebase)
• Name (if provided through social sign-in)

Journal Entries

Your personal journal reflections are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to our servers, and we do not have access to the content of your journal entries.

Purchase Information

When you make a purchase, payment processing is handled by Apple (for in-app purchases) or Stripe (for website purchases). We receive confirmation of your purchase but do not store your payment card details. For website orders we keep your email address, your shipping name and address, and any gift note you add, so we can fulfil and support your order. You do not need an account to order on the website.

Email Signups

If you ask us to send you the free first week or to notify you when the app launches, we store your email address and which of these you requested. We use it only for those emails. Reply to any email and we will remove you.

Website Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors. To prevent abuse of our signup form, we also keep a one-way hash of your IP address for one day.

How We Use Your Information

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information. Your journal entries are stored locally on your device and are not accessible to us. Account data is securely managed through Firebase Authentication.

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
